Botanicals By The Sea: Slathering Oil

Hello my Botanicals by the Sea lovers! If you're new to this blog, welcome! Here we talk about the various products offered by the company Botanicals By The Sea which is based out of San Diego/Carlsbad, California.  Today I am going to be talking about our Slatherhing Oil, which is also a new product to me so these are also my very first impressions of it.

The slathering oil by Botanicals comes in four sizes, 2oz, 4oz, 6oz, and 8oz with the 6oz and 8oz bottle coming with a pump.  I find that to be a great idea because then there is less of a chance that you will accidentally pour too much out or pour it everywhere by accident.  Well for me at least, I'm a tiny bit clumsy.  The prices range from $8 for the 2oz bottle to only $24 for the 8oz bottle.  There are seventeen scents for you to choose from along with an unscented option, so there is sure to be one you will find that you will love! I myself went for the Tahitian Vanilla and I love the warmth that surrounds the notes- it truly makes you feel like you are on an island vacation.  The other scent choices are: Valencia Orange, Forrest Melody, Patchouli, Passion Sunset, Sun Kissed, Black Amber & Lavender, Chocolate Kiss, Grapefruit, Mango Madness, Karma, Eucalyptus Blossoms, Bamboo Gardens, Coconut Lemongrass, Warm Sunshine, Desert Nights, and Vetyver. Whew! Talk about your selection of lovely scents! Here is what the two ounce bottle looks like:

As you can see, it is labeled twice to prevent any confusion when choosing a product. As for what it's made out of, as always, it's JUNK FREE! We use only the finest, all natural ingredients in all of our products.  For example, in our slathering oil we use a blend of coconut, sweet almond, avocado, macadamia, sunflower oils, and- of course- shea butter!  These oils truly nourish your skin and not only moisturize it but help to heal any dry patches you may have.  The best way to use it is to shake it before pouring or squirting some into your hands right after you take a shower or bath and rub it gently into your skin, it absorbs really quickly and keeps you moisturized.  If you like the sound of this product, then you can check it out on our website here. I hope you enjoyed and have a wonderful week!
